Barcelona, Spain, January 20–23, 2025
The HiPEAC 2025 conference will take place in Barcelona, Spain, bringing together the foremost experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers, and operating systems for general-purpose, embedded, and cyber-physical systems. This premier European forum will host an extensive program consisting of 72 sessions, including workshops, tutorials, special sessions, a large poster exhibition, and an industrial showcase, all running in parallel with the conference.
Key areas of focus at HiPEAC 2025 include safety-critical systems, cybersecurity, energy efficiency, and machine learning, reflecting the integration of these critical domains in advancing technology.

Advancing Diversity: Women in HPC
BSC researchers Marta Garcia-Gasulla and Sara Royuela will co-organize the “MAR WHPC Chapter: Building the Diversity Continuum in Cutting-Edge Technologies” workshop. This session aims to foster an inclusive environment while showcasing the latest advancements from female experts in HPC, AI, and real-time systems.

Celebrating 20 Years of HiPEAC
The conference will conclude with a special celebration marking 20 years of HiPEAC. BSC Director Mateo Valero will deliver a keynote titled “BSC: HiPEAC, HPC, and AI,” highlighting the BSC’s contributions to advancing high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) across Europe.
